Summary: A unique book with photos of Japan. A Japanese woman who graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1904 has written of her life in her native country, where she founded a girl’s school. It covers her experiences before and during the Second World War through the early stages of the American occupation of Japan.
Condition: Paper covers, Ex-Lib-usual stamps/marks; covers show light soiling, text is sound, few small soiled specks. Comes in a slip case which is faded and has some soiling and shows some wear. But overall this unique book is in good plus shape.
