Additional Information: Story book has approx. 22 pages (unnumbered). Story book is illustrated in color. The two 45 records are yellow vinyl with blue labels
Summary: The Little Nipper series was an RCA Victor series of records aimed at children. First issued in 1944 on 78 RPM, and then on 45 RPM in the 1950s, the name was a variation on the RCA Nipper the dog trademark. These were two-record albums accompanied by a booklet slipcover featuring the spoken text of the album so that the young listener could follow along. Completely dramatized with full cast, sound effects, songs and music. Action – bareback riding, calf roping. Trills – trick riding by Roy and Trigger. Excitement – Roy captures the bandits who try to hold up the box office.
Condition: Story book folder spine edge is tore at the seam on both sides, part of the spine edge is missing and part has been taped, corner tips are bumped and bared, covers have some rubbing on the edges and light soiling; I did not play the records but they look ok – no chips or cracks, record sleeves are good; text has a few light smudges and soiled spots but is good, covers are fair.
