Topics include the Santa Fe Trail, Clarina Nichols, 1825 land surveys for the Kansas Indians, Osage Indian peace treaty, Kansas River navigation of 1854-1861, John Brown, the blizzard of 1886, county histories, cattle trains, various notable Kansans, Kansas colleges, the Kansas constitution, Buffalo Bill, Kansas laws, early exploration, First Christ Church, and other topics.β
Condition: Hardcover, Ex-lib β usual marks/stamps. Library pocket inside front cover and dust jacket summary info inside back cover both of covering part of the end paper map (same on both front & back). Text is sound and clean. Overall good plus.
