Summary: Volume One: Andromeda Through Cetus. Volume Two: Chamaeleon Through Orion. Volume Three: Pavo Through Vulpecula. This unique and necessary reference is a guide for the amateur and advanced astronomers in their knowledge and enjoyment of the stars. Volume I has an extensive introduction, which gives the beginner enough information to follow about 80% of the body of material. The author gives comprehensive coverage to the thousands of celestial objects outside our solar system that are within the range of telescopes in the two- to twelve- inch range. The objects are grouped according to the constellations in which they appear. There are excellent descriptive notes. They cover history, unusual movements or appearances and more.
Condition: Hardcover, all have dust wrappers. All are very good. Dust wrappers show slight wear with light discoloring on the edges.
