Condition: Both volumes are hardcover, both have a label in the front that says “Scientific Library United States Patient Office”. Some stamps and marks in both volumes. Covers show slight wear. Some pages are loose and some coming loose, some tears, few taped spots, both volumes are pulling slightly, some smudges, few pages have chipped edges. Also some moisture stains on outer edges of some pages. Couple plates in Vol. I are located in a different place then what the list says and the frontispiece in vol. I is different then what the list says. But overall good readable copies of a rare publication.
