Additional Information: Issues have had covers and most ads removed so page numbers vary from issue to issue starting with 35-39 and ending with 82-122. A few other articles might have been removed also. There are still a few ads throughout the volume. I have a few more of these volumes. Illustrated with photos and drawings. One issue has a pull-out blueprint which is tore (2 scans), very worn and brittle and possibly some pieces missing. If any other issues had them they are missing.
Summary: The National Builder (1885-1924 was founded by Thomas E. Hill, of Chicago, as a popular journal including matter about gardens and furnishings but it came into other hands in the nineties and was made a contractors’ journal. Sampling of some of the articles are:

Condition: Hard cover, Ex-Lib-Usual stamps/marks, label inside front cover; Covers show some wear and light soiling; Text is sound with few small tears, soiled specks and faint age discoloring; page edges stamped; Complete plans is in one issue and very worn, torn & brittle and if there were supposed to be any in other issues they are missing; March issue is labeled wrong – says Feb. rather than Mar. overall good.
