• Appendix: Portraits and Biographies of Important Characters connected with Religious History
Condition: Hardcover, covers show some wear, some soiling, corners are bumped and spine edges have some tear. Front lining paper is tore at seam so threads are exposed. In the margin after the title page and before the Preface page there is a thin strip of paper bound in so not sure if something is missing or not. Preface page no. is (iii) but the frontispiece and the title page do not have a page no. Looks like they started with roman no. then switched to regular number when they got to 8. Text is sound with some age discoloring especially around the outer page edges. There are a few small soiled specks. The last few pages of the main text in the upper right hand corner have a small moisture stain and as the pages continue on the stain gets larger in the Appendix section but remain completely in the margin area. See the scans for better details. Back cover and page of ages is slightly loose as lining paper is tore and threads are showing. Overall a good copy.
