Summary: Doctor Dolittle is the central character of a series of children’s books. He is a physician who shuns human patients in favor of animals, with whom he can speak to in their languages. Doctor Dolittle first appeared in the author’s illustrated letters to his children during World War I written from the trenches. The stories are set in early Victorian England.
Condition: Hardcover, all are ex-lib with usual stamps and marks remains of pocket & checkout sheet inside front cover. All covers show some wear and light soiling. Some have bumper corner tips. Text is sound with slight pulling. All but Zoo are good copies. Zoo is more worn, ink scribbles inside front cover and on front fly and pages 10-11, has few small tears and soiled spots, first 8 pages have slight waviness lower right bottom and page one a few of the words at the bottom are scuffed (see picture scan) but it is a readable copy.

If insurance is not included in s&h charges, it is extra and recommended as Seller is not responsible for uninsured items. F.O.B. Miller, SD.
